A delightfully pretty variety bred from the Welsh ‘Sugar Rush’ that exhibits soft green foliage, white flowers with a yellow-green centre, and small rounded pods that ripen from a pale whitish-green to a delightful shade of light peach streaked with splashes of red.
Best grown in a greenhouse or polytunnel, this variety grows multiple pod laden branches and can reach well over a metre tall so will need significant support.
These fruits are crunchy with a delicious fruity sweetness; enjoy them raw straight from the plant, pickle them in light vinegar to preserve their beautiful stripes, or stuff them with a soft cheese and bake until golden.
