An astoundingly beautiful chilli pepper, with purple tinged stems and vibrant green foliage richly speckled with creamy white variegation. Its small white flowers are occasionally edged with vibrant purple, which mature into multicoloured striped 4-5cm pods streaked with green, white, yellow and purple before ripening to scarlet red in a fantastic multicoloured display.
Perfect for beginners, this plant is best grown in a greenhouse or polytunnel, but can thrive in smaller container as it typically remains a compact 30-45cm when fully mature.
The fruits have an unusual flavour profile that perfectly accompanies sweet potatoes or squashes. Try them roasted into vegetable mash, diced raw in candied yams, or baked into a savoury spaghetti squash.
